About the programme
Academic and industry experts will take you on an intensive two-day journey through the rapidly developing world of hydrogen. You will gain practical insight into how hydrogen can be produced, transported, stored and applied across sectors such as industry, mobility, buildings and energy systems. The programme explores the opportunities, limitations and risks of hydrogen, taking into account the latest developments in technology, infrastructure, regulation, finance and policy, as well as the critical decisions needed to realise hydrogen’s role in the energy transition.
By the end of this course, you will have a clear understanding of where hydrogen is genuinely becoming relevant, what is needed to scale projects successfully, and how market demand, certification and geopolitics are shaping the hydrogen economy.

Each course day includes a well-catered lunch, and during the programme there will be opportunities to connect informally with fellow participants, lecturers and industry professionals.
The programme is led by international hydrogen and gas infrastructure specialist Barbara Jinks, Barbara has worked in most parts of the gas supply chain around the world for over 35 years and now lives in Germany. She promotes the value of gas industry infrastructure, systems and skills in being able to adapt to deliver green gases. She is currently the Director of Ready4H2, an initiative that coordinates gas distribution networks operators and gas associations in 10 countries across Europe to coordinate the transformation of gas distribution grids to hydrogen. Together with contributions from academic and industry experts through guest lectures and practical examples based on current market developments.
