NEBS Ambassadors are distinguished professionals who contribute to our vision by bringing expertise, global perspective and strategic insight into our programmes and community. They regularly engage with participants, represent NEBS at key events, and help strengthen our connection with regions and sectors where the energy transition is actively shaped.
As Director of Energy Transition & Sustainability at Rabobank, Eric focuses on financing the energy and food transitions and connecting innovation, strategy, and investment to accelerate sustainable development. Throughout his career, he has gained international experience in markets including the United States, India, China, the United Kingdom, and the United Arab Emirates. With more than three decades of international banking experience and extensive expertise in energy transition, sustainability, and innovation, Eric brings valuable knowledge and a strong network to the NEBS community.
Eric’s expertise spans energy transition, hydrogen, fintech, food transition, and future strategy. As Hydrogen Ambassador of Groningen and an active contributor to energy transition initiatives in The Hague and Brussels, he works at the intersection of business, policy, and innovation. He is also co-initiator of the Green Bio Gas Bid to the Dutch Cabinet 2026, together with leading organisations including Gasunie, Eneco, Vattenfall, Enexis, and NVDE.
As an ambassador of New Energy Business School, Eric will contribute his strategic insights and experience to further strengthen the connection between professionals, organisations, and the knowledge needed to accelerate the energy transition.
