The current and future role of energy investment, finance, and risk

The transition to a carbon-neutral economy requires trillions in investment in renewable energy and new technologies, making finance one of the central drivers of the energy transition. At the same time, fossil resources remain an important part of today’s energy system, while geopolitical developments create new financial risks and opportunities for Europe.

During this programme, Kay van der Kooi, Senior Investment Banker at Triodos Energy Transition Europe Fund, provides an in-depth perspective on financing the energy transition. Financial experts from Deloitte, Rabobank, Edelweiss Renewables Advisors and other leading organisations discuss current developments and trends in financing new energy projects.
