International Strategic Board

As of January 2022, the International Strategic Board (ISB) consists of Founding partners Gasunie, GasTerra, Shell and the University of Groningen.

The ISB has an important role in advising on the strategy and execution of the business school. The annual ISB meeting is the main strategic event and moment of the year for the ISB members associated with the business school to provide advice and input related to executive education, developments and strategy.

The ISB-members have premium status; they can make collective decisions on the addition or participation of new potential companies or institutions in strategic meetings aimed at enhancing strategic discussions and the outside perspective.

Gasunie

Gasunie is a European gas infrastructure company. It provides for the transport of natural gas and green gas in the Netherlands and the Northern part of Germany. Its activities are geared to facilitating the industrial and domestic gas markets in the Netherlands, Germany and elsewhere.

GasTerra

GasTerra is a wholesale trading company which buys gas from domestic and foreign producers and on the open gas market and sells it to utilities, industry and other large customers. The company also offers gas trade-related services.

Shell

Shell is an international energy company that aims to meet the world’s growing need for more and cleaner energy solutions in ways that are economically, environmentally and socially responsible. It uses advanced technologies and takes an innovative approach to help build a sustainable energy future.

University of Groningen
